From Huntersville/Davidson/Corneilus ...
- Go west on Hwy 73. You go past Mcguire Nuclear Station and
the Cowans Ford Dam. Cross over Hwy 16. Go past East Lincoln High School on
right. You go under an over pass. After the over pass you go down a fairly
long hill and cross a bridge over a creek. After crossing the creek you
start back up a hill that is also pretty long. ***NOTE the speed limit
changes to 45 mph at about the top of the hill. This is new so if you've
not been this way in a while be aware of it. They have been patrolling it
pretty heavily since they made the change***

About 3/4 mile from the creek you will see a small church with a large red
cross on the right hand side of 73. This is East Lincoln Baptist Church.
About 1/2 mile past this church you come to a cross road intersection.
There is another church on the left hand side of the road at this
intersection. This is Tucker's Grove AME Zion Church and is also the name
of the road on the left. Turn left off of 73 on to "Tucker's". You only go
a few hundred feet and come to a stop sign. Go straight but the road name
changes to Brevard place road. Follow this for about 4 miles until you come
to a stop sign at a t-bone intersection with Long Circle. You turn left at
this intersection on to Long Circle. Stay on Long Circle until you come to
a similiar intersection with hwy 27. Turn left on 27 and we are
about 1/4 on the left. You turn on to a paved driveway. There is a big sign
for Tri-County. The drive is named Al Hager Lane. We are on the right
hand side of Al Hager. It is behind Joann's parents gray house. Go past the
house and turn right on to the paved drive from Al Hager.
- I work at McGuire and this is how I come to work. It is approx 13 miles from the traffic light at the McGuire intersecion with 73 to TCAR. The time of day you are coming you can drive this distance in about 15-20 minutes.
